First Sitting of the Environmental Protection Committee
The Environmental Protection Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia held its first sitting on 16 September 2008, convened, under article 26 of the National Assembly’s Rules of Procedure, by the Speaker of the National Assembly Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic. Until the election of chairman, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, deputy Milan Dimitrijevic.

By a majority of votes, the members of the Environmental Protection Committee elected deputy Cedomir Jovanovic of the Liberal Democratic Party Deputy Group as Committee Chairman.
