First Sitting of the Environmental Protection Committee
As stipulated in Article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, the first sitting of the Environmental Protection Committee, held on 25 July 2012, was convened by the National Assembly Speaker.
Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, MP Konstantin Arsenovic, from the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS) Parliamentary Group.
The Committee members elected MP Milica Vojic-Markovic, from the Democratic Party of Serbia - Vojislav Kostunica Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairperson, and will be electing the Committee Deputy Chairperson at one of the upcoming sittings.
