First Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

The Defence and Internal Affairs Committee held its first sitting on 1 April 2024, convened by National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic, as stipulated in Article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.

Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member present, MP Mitar Kovac of the WE – VOICE FROM THE PEOPLE Parliamentary Group.

The Committee members elected MP Sandra Bozic, of the ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – Serbia Must Not Stop Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairperson, while the Committee Deputy Chairperson will be elected at one of the coming sittings.
