First Sitting of the Committee on the Rights of the Child
At the sitting held on 27 September, the members of the Committee on the Rights of the Child unanimously elected MP Ljiljana Lucic, from the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Committee Deputy Chairperson.
The Committee members decided to continue the successful cooperation with UNICEF in order to promote the rights of the child.
The Committee members went on to discuss various forms of child protection, such as child protection on the Internet, as well as preparations to mark the Children’s Week event at the National Assembly.
The sitting was chaired by MA Nebojsa Stefanovic, Committee Chairman.
