First Sitting of the Committee on Kosovo-Metohija
The Committee on Kosovo-Metohija held its first sitting on 20 September 2012. As stipulated in Article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, the sitting was convened by the National Assembly Speaker, MA Nebojsa Stefanovic.
Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, MP Momo Colakovic, from the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS) Parliamentary Group.
By a majority of votes, the Committee members elected Member of Parliament MA Milovan Drecun, from the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairperson, while the Committee Deputy Chairperson will be elected at the next sitting.
