First Conference of Parliament Speakers of Danube Region States and Regions
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic and Speaker of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina Sandor Egeresi sent invitations to the parliament speakers of 14 states and 17 regions of the Danube region to take part at the First Conference of Parliament Speakers of Danube Region States and Regions to be held on 5 and 6 April 2011 in Novi Sad, at the APV Assembly.

The topic of the conference is EU’s Danube Strategy and establishment of the
Djukic-Dejanovic and Egeresi agreed on the importance of the Conference intended to strengthen the position of parliaments within the Danube Strategy, as well as institutionalise annual meetings of parliamentary delegations of the states and regions aimed at exchanging opinions and promoting the implementation of the Strategy.
