Fifty-First Sitting of the Legislative Committee

At the sitting held on 3 June, the Legislative Committee discussed the amendment submitted to the Bill granting guaranty by the Republic of Serbia in favour of “Societe Generale”, Paris, France under the debt of Public Enterprise “Serbian Roads”, submitted by the Government and the amendment submitted to the Bill granting guaranty by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Unicredit Bank Serbia a.


At the sitting held on 3 June, the Legislative Committee discussed the amendment submitted to the Bill granting guaranty by the Republic of Serbia in favour of “Societe Generale”, Paris, France under the debt of Public Enterprise “Serbian Roads”, submitted by the Government and the amendment submitted to the Bill granting guaranty by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Unicredit Bank Serbia a.d. Belgrade under the debt of Public Enterprise “Serbian Roads”, submitted by the Government.

The Committee unanimously ruled that both the amendments were legally feasible.

The Committee also deemed the three amendments submitted by the deputies to the Bill amending and modifying the Personal Income Tax Law, submitted by the Government, legally feasible.

On the initiative to estimate the constitutionality of article 99 paragraph 1 and articles 100 and 101 of the Law on Judges, the Legislative Committee decided to submit the opinion to the Constitutional Court that the disputed provisions of the Law are not contrary to the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia.

On the initiative made by the Belgrade Judges’ Association to initiate proceedings to estimate the constitutionality of the provisions of article 55 paragraphs 5 and 6 and article 56 of the Law on the High Judicial Council, the Committee decided to submit the opinion that the disputed provisions of the Law are not contrary to the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Vlatko Ratkovic, Committee Chairman.
