At the sitting held on 28 December, the Administrative Committee considered the Republic Electoral Commission Report on filling a vacant deputy seat at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee noted that the termination of the term of office of deputies Elena Bozic-Talijan and Lidija Dimitrijevic, elected from the Serbian Radical Party – Dr Vojislav Seselj electoral list, left vacant deputy seats at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, in line with the provision of article 88 of the Law on the Election of Deputies.

Since the Committee members had ascertained the existence of sufficient grounds for the verification of the term of office of deputies Nemanja Sarovic and Goran Cvetanovic, elected from the Serbian Radical Party – Dr Vojislav Seselj electoral list, the Committee unanimously adopted the Report and proposed that the National Assembly note the verification of the newly-elected deputies’ terms of office.
