Fifth Sitting of the Health and Family Committee

At the sitting held on 11 March 2021, the members of the Health and Family Committee discussed nominations of one Committee member for the Commission for the Control of the Execution of Criminal Sanctions.

In view of the fact that the Commission needs to begin operation as soon as possible, the Health and Family Committee needs to nominate five candidates for member of the Commission for the Control of the Execution of Criminal Sanctions post haste and forward said nomination to the competent Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government so that the National Assembly could pass the decision on the election of Commission member at one of its coming sittings.

The Committee members proposed, by majority vote, that the National Assembly accept the proposal of Committee Chairman Dr Sci.med Darko Laketic that Dr Marko Bogdanovic should be the Committee’s candidate for member of the Commission for the Control of the Execution of Criminal Sanctions.

In the course of the sitting, the Committee Chairman informed the Committee that, in line with the Ministry of Health memo concerning the implementation of the World Health Organisation Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, he had appointed MP Dr Uri Emese Committee representative at the online meeting held on 22-26 February 2021.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Sci.med Darko Laketic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dragana Brankovic Mincic, Dr Vesna Ivkovic, Sofija Maksimovic, Dr Uri Emese, Djuro Peric, Natasa Ivanovic, Svetlana Milijic, Zagorka Aleksic, Dr Dragana Barisic, Dr Marko Bogdanovic, Sladjana Nikolic and Nevena Djuric.
