Fifth Sitting of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality
At the sitting held on 6 July 2026, the members of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on a Communications Procedure, submitted by the Government.
The Bill was presented by Minister of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue Demo Berisa, after which the Committee members unanimously decided to propose that the National Assembly accept it.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Aleksandar Markovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Lepomir Ivkovic, Ugljesa Grgur, Igor D. Jaksic, Prof. Dr Marko Milenkovic, Dragana Radinovic, Prof. Dr Mirka Lukic Sarkanovic Jozsef Tobias and Jasmina Kranac.
