European Integration Committee Delegation Takes Part in 23rd Meeting of COSAP
A delegation of the National Assembly’s European Integration Committee took part in the 23rd meeting of the Conference of the European Integration/Affairs Committees of States Participating in the Stabilisation and Association Process of the South-East Europe (COSAP), held on 4and 5 June 2026 in Struga, North Macedonia.
- The role of the Berlin Process in strengthening regional cooperation in the Western Balkans, with particular emphasis on economic integration and a common regional market, infrastructure development and connectivity, as well as political dialogue and regional stability;
- Improving regional connectivity through modern transport infrastructure; energy security and green transition, with particular emphasis on modern transport infrastructure which is the key to economic growth, transport corridors and regional integration, development of smart power grids, security of energy supply, decarbonisation, as well as renewable energy sources;
- The process of European integration of the countries of Southeast Europe in the current geopolitical context, with special emphasis on the process of enlargement and reform of the European Union, and on geopolitical influences and external actors.
