Eighth Sitting of the Environmental Protection Committee

At the sitting held on 8 July 2026, the members of the Environmental Protection Committee considered the Bill on Integrated Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution, submitted by the Government, in detail.

Of the 60 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill, the Government and the Committee accepted two, submitted to Article 22 by MP Dragan Jonic, and to Article 47 by MPs Marinika Tepic, Dragan Djilas, Borko Stefanovic, Dusan Nikezic, Goran Petrovic, Jelena Milosevic, Tatjana Pasic, Pedjđa Mitrovic, Jelena Spiric, Dalibor Jekic, Branko Miljus and Mila Popovic, while the rest were not accepted.

The sitting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of the Environmental Protection.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milimir Vujadinovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nenad Ristovic, Nikola Pantelic, Dr Sanela Strainovic, Dragana Arsic, Dejan Bultovic, Anita Nesic, Marijan Risticevic, Nevena Veinovic, Ivan Karic, Dobrica Veselinovic and Marko Mladenovic.
