Eighth Sitting of the Committee on the Rights of the Child
At the sitting held on 31 May, the Committee on the Rights of the Child formulated the Proposal of Conclusions on the reviewed Ombudsman’s 2012 Regular Annual Report, the part related to the rights of the child, which will be forwarded to the National Assembly for discussion and adoption.
At the sitting, the Committee also adopted the initiative to launch action “Priority for children and pregnant women”, to make it possible for pregnant women and women with small children to exercise their rights in public institutions more quickly and easily.
The sitting was chaired by MA Nebojsa Stefanovic, Committee Chairman.
