Eighth Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues
At the sitting held on 4 August, the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues discussed the Decision of the Republic Electoral Commission of 3 August 2012 on the allocation of MPs’ terms of office for the purpose of filling vacant seats at the National Assembly.
The Committee ascertained that terms of office had been allocated to Snezana Stojanovic Plavsic and Nikola Jovanovic from the UNITED REGIONS OF SERBIA – MLADJAN DINKIC Electoral List.
The Committee proposed that the National Assembly should verify the terms of office of the newly-elected MPs.
The Committee went on to reject the request by former MP Gordana Rajkov to realise the right to receive pay up to six months after the termination of the term of office as an MP, as it had ascertained that she was eligible for family pension.
The sitting was chaired by Jorgovanka Tabakovic, Committee Chairperson.
