Deputy Speaker Arsic Talks to President of State Parliament of Baden-Württemberg

National Assembly Deputy Speaker Veroljub Arsic had a working lunch with the President of the State Parliament of the German Federal State of Baden-Württemberg Muhterem Aras.

The officials discussed improving bilateral relations between the two states, development of parliamentarism, transparency of parliamentary scrutiny, the reform and EU integration processes and the political situation in the two countries. Serbia was praised for its perseverance in conducting reforms and high standard and practice of participation and representation of women in state institutions. Deputy Speaker Arsic also highlighted the importance of the Berlin Process and the need to include a parliamentary dimension.

The meeting was also attended by the Head of the PFG with Germany Vesna Markovic.
