Cuban Ambassador Presents MPs with Letters of Thanks

MPs Prof. Dr Ljubisa Stojmirovic, Bojan Torbica and Djordje Komlenski met today at the National Assembly House with Cuban Ambassador H.E. Gustavo Trista del Todo.

On the occasion, the Cuban Ambassador presented the MPs with letters of thanks for their endorsement of the Henry Reeve International Medical Brigade for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize.

In the course of the meeting, the officials discussed the current global COVID-19 epidemiological situation.

The Ambassador praised the leadership of the Republic of Serbia for the ongoing successful immunization and informed the MPs that the Cuban vaccine has entered the final phase. He said he hoped that by the end of the year, Cuba would carry out a mass vaccination, which will contribute primarily to the health of the Cuban people, as well as the recovery of the economy and tourism.
