Committee on Defence and Security to visit Southern Serbia
The chairman of the Committee on Defence and Security of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Milorad Mircic, convened a session of the Committee for 10 a.
The chairman of the Committee on Defence and Security of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Milorad Mircic, convened a session of the Committee for 10 a.m. on Friday 30 April.
The Committee is to discuss the security situation in Southern Serbia.
The Committee’s session is to be held at the Press Centre of the Bujanovac Municipal Assembly Coordinating Body; after the session, a visit to several organisations and facilities in Southern Serbia is planned.
Representatives of the media, especially local media from Southern Serbia, are invited to attend the session, planned to last from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and then join members of the Committee as they visit the Usi Gendarmerie base, the Kadrova Cuka army base and the Konculj police checkpoint.
Buses will be provided from the Bujanovac Press Centre to the facilities planned to be visited.
Besides members of the Committee, media representatives are also invited to lunch at the Simo Pogacarevic army barracks in Vranje (from 3.40 to 4.30 p.m.), while a visit to the Prohor Pcinjski monastery is planned after lunch, at 5.20 p.m., along with a visit to the Bujanovacka Banja spa.
