Children’s Rights Sub-Committee formed

The Children’s Rights Sub-Committee, formed by the Gender Equality Committee, held its constituting session on 17 May.


The Children’s Rights Sub-Committee, formed by the Gender Equality Committee, held its constituting session on 17 May.

Zivodarka Dacin, Anita Beretic, Milica Vojic-Markovic, Snezana Stojanovic-Plavsic, Slobodan Zivkucin and Srboljub Marinkovic were appointed to the Sub-Committee.

Zivodarka Dacin was elected chairperson at the constituting session of the Sub-Committee; the powers and mode of work of the Sub-Committee were also discussed. It was agreed that it was essential to establish communication with non-governmental organisations and international institutions engaged in protecting children’s rights, as well as with the Children’s Rights Council of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
