Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues Committee Chairman Meets with Ombudsman
The Chairman of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues Milenko Jovanov met today, at the National Assembly, with Ombudsman MA Zoran Pasalic.
The officials discussed how to further cooperation between the Committee and the Ombudsman, primarily through the strengthening of parliamentary oversight in order to boost the efficiency of the state institutions and improve the protection of the rights of the citizens.
They agreed that maintaining communication between the National Assembly’s working bodies and the institution of the Ombudsman would be of mutual benefit.
