65th Sitting of the European Integration Committee

At the sitting held on 7 October, the European Integration Committee considered the Report on the Republic of Serbia EU accession negotiations during the Romanian Presidency-in-Office (January – June 2019), presented by Assistant Minister for European Integration Ksenija Milenkovic.


Milenkovic said that in the reporting period the EU was preoccupied by internal matters because it was the time of the electoral campaign and EP election which reflected on the enlargement policy. The Serbian Government continued with the preparations for the opening of negotiating chapters, Milenkovic added.

Following the presentation, the Committee members adopted the Report on the Republic of Serbia EU accession negotiations during the Romanian Presidency-in-Office (January – June 2019) and proposed that the National Assembly accept it.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Nenad Canak, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Ivana Nikolic, Dr Muamer Bacevac, Haji Milorad Stosic, Vladimir Djuric, Krsto Janjusevic, Tanja Tomasevic Damnjanovic, Biljana Pantic Pilja, Zvonimir Djokic and Elvira Kovacs.
