61st Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 10 June, the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered and unanimously accepted the High Judicial Council 2018 Annual Activity Report. The Committee also unanimously accepted the Proposal of the Decision on the election of a judge to judicial office for the first time, submitted by the High Judicial Council, and forwarded it to the National Assembly for consideration and adoption.

The Committee members went on to consider and unanimously accept the 2018 Report on the public prosecutor’s offices’ activity on the suppression of criminality and protection of constitutionality and the State Prosecutorial Council 2018 Activity Report. The Committee also unanimously accepted the Proposal of the Decision on the election of Deputy Public Prosecutor, submitted by the State Prosecutorial Council, and forwarded it to the National Assembly for consideration and adoption.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Aleksandra Majkic, Slavisa Bulatovic, Miletic Mihajlovic, Srbislav Filipovic, Djordje Komlenski, Dr Balint Pasztor and Marko Parezanovic.
