59th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 14 September 2021, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the Bill on the Use of the Serbian Language in Public Life and the Protection and Preservation of the Cyrillic Alphabet in detail.


The MPs, members of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians Parliamentary Group, had submitted three amendments to the Bill, which the Committee found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Jelena Zaric Kovacevic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nevena Veinovic, Zoran Tomic, Zeljko Tomic, Ilija Matejic, Luka Kebara, Marko Mladenovic, Dejan Kesar, Ugljesa Mrdic, Borisav Kovacevic and Toma Fila.
