55th Sitting of the European Integration Committee

At the sitting held on 21 March 2019, the European Integration Committee decided to consider the Report on the National programme for adoption of the EU acquis (NPAA), for the fourth quarter of 2018, at the next sitting.

The Committee went on to consider the initiative to invite the members of the European Parliament Jordi Solé, Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya, Spain, Jill Evans, Party of Wales, UK, Ana Miranda, Bloque Nacionalista Galego, Spain, Josep-Maria Terricabras, Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya, Spain, and Ivan Jakovcic, Istrian Democratic Assembly, Croatia, to a meeting with the National Assembly’s European Integration Committee to discuss the EU-Serbia negotiations in the areas of regionalization, decentralization and human rights, to learn more about the tasks, standards and obligations on the path to EU accession, in the second part of April 2019.

Following a discussion, the Committee members accepted the initiative by majority vote.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Deputy Chairperson Elvira Kovacs, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Vera Jovanovic, Dusica Stojkovic, Milorad Haji Stosic, Dragan Sormaz, Tanja Tomasevic Damnjanovic, Biljana Pantic Pilja, Miljan Damjanovic, MA Dejan Radenkovic, Dubravka Filipovski, Krsto Janjusevic and Bojan Torbica.
