44th Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 28 October 2021, the members of Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues considered the Decision of the Republic Electoral Commission on the allocation of an MP’s term of office for the purpose of filling a vacant seat at the National Assembly.

The Committee proposed that the National Assembly note the verification of the term of office of newly-elected MP Momcilo Vuksanovic, on behalf of the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia, elected from the ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – FOR OUR CHILDREN Electoral List.

The Committee members went on to consider the 2022 Assembly Budget proposal, prepared by the National Assembly Secretary General.

The 2022 Assembly Budget proposal was presented by Deputy Secretary General Branko Marinkovic saying that the total National Assembly expenditure had been set at 4,297,325,000 RSD covering five programmes, three of them regular (MPs, National Assembly Support Service and Republic Electoral Commission regular operating costs).

The Committee unanimously established the 2022 Assembly Budget Proposal.

The Committee members went on to consider the Report on the use and disposal of National Assembly funds in the period January-September 2021, also presented by Deputy Secretary General Branko Marinkovic, who said that budget execution in the third quarter reached 61.43% i.e. 1,405,500,000 RSD and is going according to the National Assembly financial plan and positive regulations, and the remaining funds would be spent in accordance with the National Assembly’s needs over the remainder of the year.

The Committee members unanimously accepted the Report on the use and disposal of National Assembly funds in the period January-September 2021.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Sci.med. Darko Laketic, Zeljko Tomic, Luka Kebara, Dr Nina Pavicevic, Branimir Spasic, Branimir Jovanovic, Adam Sukalo, Veroljub Matic, Nebojsa Bakarec, Sandra Bozic and Ivana Nikolic.
