40th Sitting of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee

At the sitting held on 11 March, the members of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee considered the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Plant Nutrition Products and Soil Enhancers, Bill amending and modifying the Food Safety Law, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Plant Protection Products, and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Plant Health, in detail.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 12 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Plant Nutrition Products and Soil Enhancers.

The Government and the Committee accepted four of the 18 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Food Safety Law. The Committee Chairman reminded the embers that the authorized Government representative attending the previous sitting had accepted the four amendments the Committee had submitted to the Bill on the occasion.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the nine amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Plant Protection Products, nor any of the eight amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Plant Health.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Marijan Risticevic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Mladen Lukic, Zarko Bogatinovic, Nada Lazic, Veroljub Matic, Milorad Mircic, Radovan Jancic, Prof. Dr Miladin Sevarlic, Dr Ljubinko Rakonjac, Milija Miletic, Ognjen Pantovic, Tijana Davidovac, Zvonimir Djokic and Arpad Fremond.
