37th session of the Privatisation Committee

At its session held on 7 March, the Privatisation Committee discussed reports of the Privatisation Agency on monitoring the fulfilment of contractual obligations of the buyer of Raska-based 1. maj Joint-Stock Company.


At its session held on 7 March, the Privatisation Committee discussed reports of the Privatisation Agency on monitoring the fulfilment of contractual obligations of the buyer of Raska-based 1. maj Joint-Stock Company. Having discussed the report, the Committee recommended that the Privatisation Agency should urgently take all measures necessary to terminate the Sale and Purchase Contract and institute measures prohibiting the sale of the company's assets.

The session was attended by officials from the Ministry of the Economy and the Privatisation Agency, as well as representatives of the buyer and of Raska municipality.

At the beginning of the session, members of the Privatisation Committee observed a minute's silence as a mark of respect for Ostoja Stojanovic, recently deceased Committee member from the ranks of the Serbian Radical Party Deputies' Group.
