37th Sitting of the European Integration Committee

At the sitting held on 8 May 2026, the members of the European Integration Committee were informed about the Conclusion on the adoption Report on the conduct of the plan for the fulfilment of the most important obligations of the negotiation process for the accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union by the end of 2026, for the fourth quarter of 2025, adopted by the Government at the session held on 16 April 2026.

Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starovic presented the Conclusion. He informed the Committee members about the Report that covers the measures and activities planned and implemented during the fourth quarter of 2025 and the beginning of 2026. The Minister presented in detail the activities concerning the harmonisation of domestic legislation with EU acquis per negotiation chapter and stressed that the work on the laws and bylaws important for the European integration process continues.

The Committee selected a delegation to take part in the 23rd meeting of the Conference of the European Integration/Affairs Committees of States Participating in the Stabilisation and Association Process of the South-East Europe (COSAP), to be held on 4-6 June 2026 in Struga, North Macedonia, comprising Branislav Josifovic and Dr Ana Jakovljevic.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Elvira Kovacs, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Stanislava Janosevic, Ana Miljanic, Goran Milic, Branislav Josifovic, Sanja Dzajic, Zivota Starcevic, Dunja Simonovic Bratic, Prof. Dr Slobodan Cvejic, Dubravka Filipovski, Milan Radin and Dr Aleksandra Tomic.
