37th Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 24 February, the members of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Security Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Governments of Other Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Initiative for South Eastern Europe Parties on Host Country Arrangements for the Secretariat of the Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Initiative for South Eastern Europe, submitted by the Government.

The Committee also considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Framework Military Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Turkey, Bill on the Confirmation of the Defence Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of India and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia amending the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia on Mutual Recognition of Driving Licences, submitted by the Government.

The bills were presented by the secretary of the Ministry of the Interior Milica Catic and assistant to the Minister of Defence Dr Milan Rankovic.

The Committee unanimously adopted all the items on the agenda.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Marija Obradovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Borisav Kovacevic, Prof. Dr Zoran Dragisic, Vladan Zagradjanin, Dubravka Filipovski, Djordje Milicevic, MA Igor Becic, Jasmina Obradovic, Aleksandar Markovic and Milovan Drecun.
