37th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 13 July, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government formulated the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of Members of the Commission for the Control of the Execution of Criminal Sanctions and forwarded it to the National Assembly for consideration.


MPs Nedjo Jovanovic, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic and Sreto Peric were nominated Commission members on the behalf of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Milanka Jevtovic Vukojicic on the behalf of the Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction, and Prof. Dr Milan Knezevic on the behalf of the Health and Family Committee.

The Committee went on to consider and decide to propose that the National Assembly adopt the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Government of Romania on Mutual Protection of Exchanged Confidential Information, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Government of the Republic of Cyprus on Exchange and Mutual Protection of Confidential Information, Bill on the Confirmation of the Extradition Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Kazakhstan on Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Kazakhstan on Transfer of Sentenced Persons, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Italy on Facilitating the Application of the  European Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters of 20 April 1959 and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Italy on Facilitating the  Application of the European Convention on Extradition of 13 December 1957, submitted by the Government.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Sreto Peric, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Jovan Palalic, Zoran Despotovic, Aleksandra Majkic, Miletic Mihajlovic, Djordje Komlenski, Zarko Micin and Balint Pasztor.
