36th Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues
At the sitting held on 16 January, the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues unanimously established the Candidate Proposal for Anti-Corruption Agency Committee Member.
The Committee accepted the proposal of the Social Democratic Party of Serbia and Serbian Progressive Party parliamentary groups that Dr Zoran Stojiljkovic, professor at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Political Sciences, be the candidate for Anti-Corruption Agency Committee member.
The Committee members went on to discuss the resignations tendered to the post of MP by Milan Markovic, Janko Radakovic and Aleksandra Jerkov. The Committee members adopted the Report by a majority of votes and proposed that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MPs’ terms of office.
By a majority of votes, the Committee also adopted decisions on fines for reprimands issued for the breach of order at the 10th Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly in 2012, to MPs Srdjan Milivojevic and Veroljub Arsic, amounting to 10% of an MP’s base salary.
The sitting was chaired by Zoran Babic, Committee Chairman.
