35th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 20 April 2026, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the amendments submitted to the bills on the agenda of the Second Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2026.


The Committee members found all of the 66 amendments submitted to the Bill on Consumer Protection to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found one of the 43 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Trade, the amendment submitted to Article 27, not to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

All of the 27 amendments submitted to the Bill on Trade Practices for Certain Types of Products were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

All of the 11 amendments submitted to the Bill on the Establishment and Functioning of the Cohesion Policy Management System were also found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee members found all 57 of the amendments submitted to the Bill on Prevention and Suppression of Human Trafficking and Protection of Victims to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found one of the four amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Fees for Use of Public Goods, the amendment submitted to Article 2, not to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

All of the 17 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Transport of Dangerous Goods were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

One of the seven amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Customs Service, the amendment submitted to Article 6, was found not to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

One of the 26 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Investigation of Air, Rail and Water Traffic Accidents, the amendment submitted to Article 23, was found not to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found both amendments to the Strategy Proposal for the Management of Mineral and Other Geological Resources of the Republic of Serbia until 2040 with projections to 2050, to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Deputy Chairman Dragan Nikolic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Branko Pavlovic, Dijana Radovic, Olja Petrovic, Snezana Jovanovic, Nikola Bokan, Risto Kostov, Vesna Nedovic, Milos Gnjidic, Jasmina Palurovic and Sladjana Susnjar.
