29th Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 8 July 2026, the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered, in detail, the Bill on Weapons and Ammunition, submitted by the Government.

Of the 176 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill on Weapons and Ammunition, the Government and the Committee accepted five submitted by MP Marijan Risticevic to articles 6, 16, 27, 41 and 61 of the Bill, while the rest were not accepted.

The sitting was attended by acting secretary of the Ministry of the Interior Veljko Odalovic.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman MA Milovan Drecun, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Prof. Dr Zoran Dragisic, Darko Jovanovic, Prof. Dr Marko Milenkovic, Tomislav Jankovic, Jasmina Obradovic, Radovan Tvrdisic, Ugljesa Markovic, Zivota Starcevic, Dragan M. Markovic, Slodoban Ilic and Petar Boskovic.
