29th Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee

At the sitting held on 16 April 2026, the members of the Culture and Information Committee considered the bills on the agenda of the Second Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2026.

The Committee considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Russian Federation on Cooperation in the Field of Cinematographic Co-Production; Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Cuba on the Prevention of Illicit Trade in Cultural Property; Proposal of the Decision to designate Dvorine – Hungarian Cemetery in the village of Banja as an immovable cultural property – an archaeological site of exceptional importance; Proposal of the Decision to determine the protection measures, protected area borders and protections measures for the protected area of cultural monument Church of St. Achillius in Arilje, immovable cultural heritage of exceptional importance; Proposal of the Decision to determine the protection measures, protected area borders and protections measures for the protected area of Caricin Grad archaeological site, immovable cultural heritage of exceptional importance and the Proposal of the Decision to designate Mora Vagei in Mihajlovac as an immovable cultural property – an archaeological site of exceptional importance, submitted by the Government.

On behalf of the Ministry of Culture, the bills were presented by acting Assistant Minister for Cultural Heritage and Digitalisation Danijela Vanusic.

Following a debate, the Committee accepted the bills by majority vote and moved to propose that the National Assembly accept them.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Nevena Djuric and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: MA Jadranka Jovanovic, Lepomir Ivkovic, Nebojsa Bakarec, Dusan Maric, Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Natasa Jovanovic, MA Ljubica Vranes, Dalibor Ccekic, Dr Emese Uri, Dr Jovan Janjic, Branko Miljus, Vladimir Pajic, Dunja Simonovic Bratic and Sanja Jefic Brankovic.
