29th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 26 August 2026, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered, in detail, the following bills:

The Government and the Committee did not accept any of the six amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Public Notaries.

Of the 23 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Judges, Government and the Committee accepted the one submitted to Article 2 of the Bill.

The Government and the Committee did not accept any of the 52 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill on the Judicial Academy.

The Government and the Committee did not accept any of the five amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Lobbying.

Of the 24 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Public Prosecution, Government and the Committee accepted the one submitted to Article 3 of the Bill.

The Government and the Committee did not accept the one amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Electronic Government.

Of the 69 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Prevention of Corruption, the submitter, MP Miroslav Petrasinovic, and the Committee accepted the one submitted to Article 29 of the Bill.

The submitter Bill amending the Law on Civil Servants, MP Ugljesa Markovic, and the Committee accepted none of the five amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Ugljesa Mrdic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Branko Pavlovic, Biljana Ilic-Stosic, Lidija Nacic, Natasa Milas Milic, Djordje Komlenski, Ivana Stamatovic, Risto Kostov, Jovan Palalic, Dragan Nikolic and Boris Bajic
