29th Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 19 May 2021, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed the resignations tendered to the post of MP by Ljubo Petrovic and Prof. Dr Predrag Markovic.

The Committee ascertained that the resignation of MPs Ljubo Petrovic and Prof. Dr Predrag Markovic, elected from the Electoral List IVICA DACIC – “Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), United Serbia (JS) – Dragan Markovic Palma”, falls within the situation set out in article 88, paragraph 1, item 2 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, thus proposing that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MPs’ term of office, pursuant to Article 88, paragraphs 3 and 4 of the same Law.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Sci.med. Darko Laketic, Luka Kebara, Dr Nina Pavicevic, Branimir Spasic, Miroslav Kondic, Viktor Jevtovic, Sanja Brankovic Jefic and Dijana Radovic.
