28th Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 23 June 2026, the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered, in principle, the Bill on Weapons and Ammunition, submitted by the Government.

The Bill was presented by State Secretary Veljko Odalovic. Following a debate, the Committee supported the Bill by majority vote and proposed that the National Assembly discuss it.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman MA Milovan Drecun, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Prof. Dr Mitar Kovac, Radovan Tvrdisic, Slobodan Ilic, Marinika Tepic, Jasmina Obradovic, Tomislav Jankovic, Prof. Dr Marko Milenkovic, Zivota Starcevic, Prof. Dr Zoran Dragisic, Aleksandar Djukic, Darko Jovanovic, Ugljesa Markovic and Petar Boskovic.
