26th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 23 November 2021, the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered, in principle, the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Employees in Autonomous Provinces and Local Self-Government Units and the Bill on Referendum and People’s Initiative, submitted by the Government.

The bills were presented by State Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Maja Puzic and Assistant Minister Ivana Savicevic.

Following a discussion, the Committee adopted the bills by majority vote.

The Committee went on to formulate the Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of Public Prosecutor in the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Velika Plana, as well as the Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of Administrative Court President.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Vladimir Djukanovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Danijela Veljovic, Daniel Gyivanovity, Dejan Kesar, Dubravka Kralj, Vesna Krisanov, Toma Fila, Djordje Komlenski, Velibor Milojicic, Nenad Baros, Nebojsa Pavlovic, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Jelena Zaric Kovacevic and Dragan M. Markovic.
