24th session of the Committee on Justice and Administration
At its twenty-fourth session, held on 27 January, the Committee on Justice and Administration discussed the Proposal of the Decision on the Nomination of the Chief Justice and Presiding Judges, proposed by the High Judicial Council.

The Minister of Justice, Zoran Stojkovic, and Janko Lazarevic, on behalf of the High Judicial Council, took part in the session.
The Committee endorsed proposals for the nomination of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Serbia and presiding judges of five district and twelve municipal courts, as well as the presiding judge of the Cacak Commercial Court. Members of the Committee did not endorse proposals of the High Judicial Council for the nomination of presiding judges of two district, five municipal and two commercial courts.
