24th Sitting of the European Integration Committee

At the sitting held on 4 November 2025, the members of the European Integration Committee considered the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Working Hours of Road Transport Vehicle Crews and Tachographs, submitted by the Government, in principle.

The Bill was presented by Acting Assistant Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Miroslav Alimpic, who said that in addition to the obligation to align with the EU rules, the law needed to be regulated for the sake of entrepreneurs, transport companies and road safety.

Following the presentation, the Committee unanimously adopted the Bill, in principle.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Elvira Kovacs, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dunja Simonovic Bratic, Stanislava Janosevic, Goran Milic, Zagorka Aleksic, Branislav Josifovic, Zeljko Rebraca, Dr Aleksandra Tomic, Zdravko Mladenovic, Ana Miljanic and Milan Radin.
