24th Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 23 March 2021, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues considered a number of complaints of breach of the MPs’ Code of Conduct.

The Committee members considered the complaint lodged against Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic by Zeljka Cvejin and ruled by majority vote to reject the complaint as unfounded and suspended the proceedings to ascertain the MP’s accountability.

The Committee then went on to consider the complaint lodged against Nebojsa Bakarec by Tamara Brankovic and ruled by majority vote to reject the complaint as unfounded and suspended the proceedings to ascertain the MP’s accountability.

The complaint lodged against Dr Vladimir Orlic by Lana Avakumovic was also rejected by majority vote as unfounded and the proceedings to ascertain the MP’s accountability were suspended.

The Committee also considered the complaint lodged against Dr Aleksandar Martinovic by Pavle Avakumovic. The Committee ruled by majority vote to reject the complaint as unfounded and suspended the proceedings to ascertain the MP’s accountability.

Finally, the Committee members considered the complaint of breach of the MPs’ Code of Conduct lodged by Transparency Serbia against Jelena Zaric Kovacevic and ruled by majority vote to reject the complaint as unfounded and suspended the proceedings to ascertain the MP’s accountability.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Sci.med Darko Laketic, Zeljko Tomic, Luka Kebara, Marijana Krajnovic, Branimir Spasic, Viktor Jevtovic, Ugljesa Markovic, Dijana Radovic, Adam Sukalo, Veroljub Matic, Branimir Jovanovic, Sandra Bozic and Ivana Nikolic.

The sitting was also attended by MPs Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Dr Vladimir Orlic, Nebojsa Bakarec and Marijan Risticevic.
