22nd Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 13 October 2021, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered the Proposal of the Decision on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time, submitted by the High Judicial Council, presented by Zak Pavlovic.

The Committee noted that the High Judicial Council had submitted the Proposal of the Decision on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time as the authorised submitter and proposed that the National Assembly accept said Decision Proposal.

The Committee members went on to formulate the Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of Public Prosecutor in the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Kursumlija Ranko Maksimovic on 24 January 2022 upon reaching retirement age and forwarded it to the National Assembly to be adopted.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Deputy Chairperson Biljana Pantic Pilja and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Bratimir Vasiljevic, Dubravka Kralj, Toma Fila, Velibor Milojicic, Nenad Krstic, Sanja Jefic Brankovic, Djordje Dabic, Nenad Baros and Nebojsa Pavlovic.
