21st Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 5 November, the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Prevention of Violence and Misbehaviour at Sports Events, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Detective Activity, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Police, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Road Traffic Safety and the Bill amending the Law on Fire Protection, as well as the Bill on Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Management, Bill on Critical Infrastructure, Bill on Volunteer Firefighting, Bill on Testing, Stamping and Marking Firearms, Devices and Ammunition and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Private Security, submitted by the Government.


Out of the 96 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Prevention of Violence and Misbehaviour at Sports Events, the Government and the Committee accepted one.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 13 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Detective Activity.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 24 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Police either.

The Government and the Committee did not accept any of the 11 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Road Traffic Safety.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 40 amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Fire Protection.

Out of the 524 amendments submitted to the Bill on Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Management the Government and the Committee accepted one.

The Government and the Committee did not accept any of the 10 amendments submitted to the Bill on Critical Infrastructure.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the eight amendments submitted to the Bill on Volunteer Firefighting. The Committee submitted an amendment of its own to the Bill.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the five amendments submitted to the Bill on Testing, Stamping and Marking Firearms, Devices and Ammunition.

The Government and the Committee did not accept any of the 16 amendments submitted to Bill amending and modifying the Law on Private Security either.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Marija Obradovic, and was attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Balsa Bozovic, Borisav Kovacevic, Miroslav Lazanski, Stefana Miladinovic, Prof. Dr Zoran Dragisic, Krsto Janjusevic, Dubravka Filipovski and Aleksandar Markovic.
