20th session of the Culture and Information Committee
At its twentieth session, held on 9 December, the Culture and Information Committee discussed the list of nominees for membership on the Council of the Republic Broadcasting Agency submitted by the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
At its twentieth session, held on 9 December, the Culture and Information Committee discussed the list of nominees for membership on the Council of the Republic Broadcasting Agency submitted by the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. Biographies of the nominees, Goran Karadzic and Dusan Marinkovic, will be published online on the website of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
The session discussed the fact, communicated by the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, that a nominee for membership on the Council, Ljiljana Djurdjevac, had been elected deputy to the Assembly of the Province and councilperson to the City Assembly of Novi Sad after the nominations were submitted. Members of the Committee agreed that there were no obstacles for the nomination of Ms Djurdjevac, and that she would be required to resign from the offices of deputy and councilperson if elected to the Council.
