20th Sitting of the Health and Family Committee

At the sitting held on 29 March, the members of the Health and Family Committee considered the Bill on Medical Insurance, Bill on Healthcare, Bill on Items of General Use and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Substances Used in the Illegal Production of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, in detail.

Of the 78 amendments submitted to the Bill on Medical Insurance, the Government and the Committee accepted 12, to articles 10, 32, 34, 52, 94, 131, 134, 148, 197, 233 and 269, submitted by MP Doc. Dr Darko Laketic, and to Article 22, submitted by MP Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.

Of the 64 amendments submitted to the Bill on Healthcare, the Government and the Committee accepted 12, to articles 59, 60, 106, 168 and 206 submitted by MP Doc. Dr Darko Laketic, to article 10 submitted by MP Aleksandra Belacic, to article 221, submitted by MP Mladen Grujic and to article 223, submitted by MP Dragan Jovanovic.

Of the 13 amendments submitted to the Bill on Items of General Use, the Government and the Committee accepted nine, to Article 6, submitted by MP Dubravko Bojic, to Article 6, submitted by MP Natasa Sp. Jovanovic, to Article 8, submitted by MP Aleksandar Seselj, to Article 12, submitted by MP Ruzica Nikolic, top the heading above Chapter V, submitted by MP Milorad Mircic, to Article 21, submitted by MP Tomislav Ljubenovic, to Article 21, submitted by MP Nikola Savic, to Article 91, submitted by MP Doc. Dr Darko Laketic, and to Article 97, submitted by MP Nemanja Sarovic.

The Committee also submitted a number of articles, viz. one each to articles 4, 16 and 84, to the headings above articles 62, 63, 70, 73 and 74, and to article 102.

Of the seven amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Substances Used in the Illegal Production of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, the Government and the Committee accepted one, to Article 19, submitted by MP Doc. Dr Darko Laketic.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Doc. Dr Darko Laketic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Prim. Dr Milovan Krivokapic, Milena Bicanin, Dr Danica Bukvic, Dr Desanka Repac, Radoslav Jovic, Dr Ljubica Mrdakovic Todorovic, Prof. Dr Milan Knezevic, Dr Svetlana Nikolic Pavlovic, Dr Danijela Stojadinovic and Dr Dragana Barisic.
