The Bill was presented by representative of the Ministry of Finance Dragana Djordjevic who stressed that it projects a realistic GDP growth of 4.5% and in accordance with that, a fiscal deficit in the amount of 200.2 billion RSD, which is a 104.3 billion RSD reduction in the deficit compared to the October 2021 budget rebalance. Djordjevic went on to say that the Republic of Serbia 2022 Budget Bill envisages 1.517 billion RSD in total revenues, which is 28 billion RSD more than in the October budget rebalance. The total planned expenditures and expenses amount to 1.717 billion RSD, which is a reduction of expenditures in the amount of 76 billion RSD.

Jelena Blagojevic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, said that a total of 62 billion RSD has been allocated for Section 24 - Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, which is 17.5% more than in 2021.

She went on to say that 50.6 billion RSD have been allocated for subsidies which make up a total of 81% of the total budget of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management.

By majority vote, the members of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee proposed that the competent Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending accept the Republic of Serbia 2022 Budget Bill, Section 24 - Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Marijan Risticevic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Momir Stojilkovic, Olja Petrovic, Velibor Stanojlovic, Nenad Filipovic, Milija Miletic Stanislava Janosevic, Arpad Fremond, Dijana Radovic, Veroljub Matic, Tijana Davidovac and Milorad Haji Stosic.
