19th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 6 July 2021, the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered the Proposal of the Decision on the election of court presidents, submitted by the High Judicial Council.

The Decision Proposal was presented by Zorana Delibasic, representative of the High Judicial Council, who said that according to it Aleksanar Blanusic, judge of the Appellate Court in Kragujevac, is elected President of the Appellate Court in Kragujevac, Milica Gavrancic, judge of the Higher Court in Pancevo, is elected President of the Higher Court in Pancevo, and Jovan Jovanovic, judge of the Supreme Court of Cassation, is elected President of the Commercial Court in Belgrade.

The Committee unanimously accepted the Proposal of the Decision on the election of court presidents.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Deputy Chairperson Biljana Pantic Pilja and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Daniel Gyivanovity, Dejan Kesar, Bratimir Vasiljevic, Dubravka Kralj, Toma Fila, Velibor Milojevic, Marijan Risticevic, Djordje Dabic, Sanja Jefic Brankovic, Nenad Baros, Nebojsa Pavlovic and Jelena Zaric Kovacevic.
