17th session of the Committee on Defence and Security
On 1 March, at its seventeenth session, the Committee on Defence and Security discussed and endorsed the Proposal of the Conclusions of the Sub-committee on Defence and Security with its associated Report on the activities of the sub-committee on results achieved in examining circumstances relating to respect for human rights during the state of emergency and Operation Sabre.

It was resolved to request documentation from the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Justice that was not previously submitted to the Committee, as well as to obtain appropriate reports from international humanitarian organisations.
