17th Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee
At the sitting held on 18 November 2021, the members of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered and accepted the Ministry of Defence activity information for the periods April-June and July-September 2021. The Ministry of Defence activity information was presented by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Dr Nebojsa Stefanovic.
The Committee members gave a positive assessment of the professional conduct and work of the members of the Serbian Armed Forces in achieving priority tasks in the reporting period, underlining their full support for their further engagement in the realisation of key tasks. In the course of the discussion, Minister Stefanovic and the representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces responded to the Committee members’ questions and provided clarifications when needed.
The Committee members found the Ministry of Defence activity information to be detailed, high quality and provided a comprehensive insight into the work and results achieved by the Ministry of Defence in the reporting period.
The sitting, closed to the public, was chaired by Committee Chairman Aleksandar Markovic.
