17th Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues
The sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues held on 21 September was dedicated to the presentation of the project introducing electronic document management at the National Assembly (e-Parliament).
At the beginning of the presentation, greeting the representatives of the OSCE Mission, Committee Chairman Zoran Babic said that the e-Parliament project is entering its final stage of realisation, the implementation of which should lead to a higher degree of transparency and efficiency of the National Assembly’s work, as well as establish two-way communication with the citizens.
The Committee members were introduced to the functional parts of the e-Parliament system, and the representatives of the OSCE Mission also pointed out some problems and difficulties which should be eliminated post haste, so that e-Parliament could be fully implemented as soon as possible.
The sitting, chaired by Zoran Babic, Committee Chairman, was held in line with article 72, paragraph 5 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
