16th Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee
At the sitting held on 14 May, the Foreign Affairs Committee adopted the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on the Employment of Family Members of the Staff of Diplomatic and Consular Representative Offices and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Government of the Republic of Macedonia on the Employment of Family Members of the Staff of Diplomatic and Consular Representative Offices, elaborated by the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Committee members gave consent for visits of foreign delegations to the National Assembly and visits of National Assembly representatives to foreign states, noted the regular activities of the National Assembly standing delegations in the upcoming period and adopted reports on visits and contacts realised.
The Committee went on to note the amendments and modifications to the membership of the parliamentary friendship groups with Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Germany, Turkey, the UK, USA and the Arab Gulf States (formerly the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Gulf States). The Committee also accepted the proposal to establish a Parliamentary Friendship Group with Palestine.
The sitting was chaired by Milos Aligrudic, Committee Chairman.
